There are a lot of news reports talking about the swine flu outbreak.  Vice President Joe Biden went on television yesterday morning to discuss the flu problem.  He said that he personally would not recommend that anyone travel in closed quarters like on airplanes, trains or buses. Traveling in closed quarters could increase your odds of being contaminated by the swine flu.

Later that same day, the Vice President took a lot of heat from the airline industry.  They said that creating fear will result in no one flying in airplanes.  When that happens, the airline industry  collapses.

So what do you do?

Well, how about building a business from home?

Start making money at home.  There is no better way to avoid the flu than working out of your house with your own home business.

Making money from home with a home business also allows you to write a number of home expenses off your taxes as well.  Like the utilities for the home office area.  Like telephone and internet expenses too.

Not only that but when you start a business from home, the company you join will typically have an annual meeting at a vacation resort.  Since you’re traveling there for business, a number of  “vacation” costs can be written off your taxes.  Of course you’ll want to contact your accountant for more information on tax expenses.

So think about it.

Start a business from home.  Work from home.  Make money from home.  Stay home with your family and still make money AND avoid the swine flu.
